Ice Fishing
Back in college, leading up to my senior show we were given the chance to create our own photo assignment, sort of a precursor to what would become our senior project. One of the four I went with was to shoot ice fisherman each weekend for the 3 weeks the project lasted. Back then it was just me and my Mamiya, recently I made the trek with some lights (those photos coming soon). Here are a couple...
Lil bit of country...
Was in the studio with local country music singer Amanda Nagurney last night, shooting new promo shots. Photos to come soon. Great time had by all.
USA
After seeing many photos of Miller as the games approach, I decided today would be a good day to post this photo. Taken the same day as the prior ones.
More Film
A few weeks ago I took a couple photos for a New Era Cap and 5th and Ocean collaboration. The photos were shot in the studio and placed into the below layout. In between shooting, I took a couple shots with the Maymiya… While the images used in the banner where shot with the Canon 5d, I like the simpleness of the film shots, they seem a tad underexposed…

Oh Film How I Have Missed You...
Going to open up a can of worms, Film is much better then digital. The instant gratification of digital has almost ruined photography for me. Although if there wasn’t digital I would be even more broke because it cost me 25 bucks to have 3 rolls of portra 160nc 120 film developed and scanned.
These are quick lo res scans and most likely would never have seen the light of day had I not...

Aspirations are high to shoot for some of the bigger name outdoor mags, Field and Stream (Amy Berkley PE has an amazing eye for talent), Outdoor Life, In-Fisherman and such. So I’m normally shooting my friends when were doing what we love to do best, Fishing or Hunting. I started a project shooting Ice Fisherman (post...
Polar Bear Plunge
Last year I showed up 1 hour to late, this year I made sure I was on time. These people are out of their minds…

It’s not often that opportunities like this come along, unfortunately this one came up while I was out of town, on the Shimmik trip. Monday morning rolled around and I was informed I’d be shooting Buffalo Sabres goalie Ryan Miller. At first I was informed he was being interviewed and I would be shooting the interview session. This turned into an all day project, a full blown editorial...
Guess who's back, back again...
After some serious thought, I’ve decided to try this again. First post is about my trip to Cali, I was shipped off the first week of January to shoot photos for Shimmik Construction. The assignment, to document the capabilities of the company. Like all things new, I was a little uncertain of how I was going to tackle this task. It was the first time I had experienced shooting such things.
